Equipment Manufacturing: CISDI Electric’s digital power distribution unit improves safety and efficiency at Sanming Steel

CISDI Electric Technology Co has supplied over 200 high-voltage switch cabinets to Sanming Steel in China’s Fujian Province.

The products are meeting customer’s power distribution and digital requirements.

Sanming Steel’s multiple process sections are operating with this late-model digital power distribution unit from the stockyard to its pulverised coal injection, blast furnace’s water treatment, central control and blower station.

The switch cabinet applies sensing, automatic control, fault analysis, telecommunication and microcomputer processing tech to enable one-touch sequential control, visualised electrical and remote operations, the running status of electric equipment and electrical parametre collections.

It has ensured the power supply system is safe and reliable and the safety and security of ops management staff.

The steel plant has been transformed to digital and intelligent; its ops management efficiency has been enhanced and corporate operational costs have been reduced.
