The future is bright at Jianlong Shanxi, thanks to new colour coating lines

Jianlong Shanxi’s steel plant in China’s Shanxi Province is now able to produce a wider range of products.

CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co has equipped the plant with galvaluminising and continuous colour coating lines.

Four lines had been contracted to CISDI to an EPC-based mode, including a hot-dip galvanizing line which started up in mid August, a newly operational CCL1 and 1,500mm horizontal galvaluminising line which can produce up to 250,000 tonnes a year, and another CCL which is currently under construction.

The galvaluminising line applies a modified Sendzimir process which makes operation simpler, production more flexible and equipment more reliable. These factors will ensure higher quality production and stronger market adaptability.

The automatic CCL1 carries out degreasing, cleaning, primary coating and finish coating. It will produce 150,000 tonnes of colour-coated, high value-added sheets a year.
