On-grid at Shanxi Hongda - UHT subcritical gas power generator

Date:2022/12/19 Source: CISDI

Shanxi Hongda’s ultra-high-temperature, subcritical distributed gas power generator has gone in-grid and met its performance indicators.

Stable operation has been achieved.

CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co built the 100MW generator to help the Shanxi Province-based company achieve its energy saving and carbon reduction objectives.

CISDI applied the following technologies:

direct air-cooled subcritical gas power generation, which effectively increases gas efficiency

combined cooling method with a high-back-pressure peak cooler, which reduces water requirements, using at least 90 per cent less than a conventional wet cooler

selective non-catalytic reduction process for denitration, which ensures an ultra-low emissions standard is achieved.

The generator is expected to reduce gas vented into air by 26.7x108 every year, increasing Hongda’s green and economic credentials.
