CISDI has delivered its conceptual design report to Universal Mining & Chemical Industries in Zambia.

The company is rebuilding the African steel plant’s light section mill with new installations for sintering, the stockyard and blast furnace ironmaking plants plus their auxiliary facilities.

The new plant will produce 600 tonnes of light sections a day.

CISDI carefully managed and maintained good communications with Universal during China’s latest pandemic lockdown. The report and its delivery schedule fulfilled the client’s requirements.
